Calvary Chapel – Old Towne
about this project
Revitalizing Calvary Chapel Old Towne Orange: A Fresh Vision for a Classic Space
When Calvary Chapel Old Towne Orange sought to renew their 1961 chapel, they turned to The ANT Group for a vision that would honor the past while embracing the future. The goal was clear: modernize the space with a fresh look and feel; all while discreetly integrating new lighting, speakers, projectors, and wiring that had accumulated over the years. With no preconceived ideas, the chapel’s leadership trusted us to reimagine the space.
Our team crafted two distinct design concepts. The first, called "Lily," evokes the beauty of lily petals gracefully spread across the ceiling, adding an airy elegance. The second, "Lace," interweaves wood and steel brackets along the existing beams, providing both style and function by concealing production elements within an intricate, timeless design.
The result? A chapel with renewed warmth and character, balancing tradition with innovative design for an inspiring worship experience.
